I have to confess, I am not a winter person. Whenever writers and poets have romanticized this season, it never cut ice with me. I was of the firm belief that winters translates into fashion taking a backseat. My belief used to be reaffirmed when I used to go for movies and hardly ever saw  Bollywood heroines flaunting winter wardrobe on screen. And watching Yash Chopra heroines serenading the hero in their flimsy chiffon sarees perched on top of the Swiss Alps, used to send several chilly shivers down my spine!

Woollen Crop Tops

Crop tops have ruled the fashion roost since last summer. But why restrict them to summers. Ok, I know you wouldn’t want to expose your mid riff to icy cold winds, but that’s when the golden rule of layering comes in handy.

Layer your woollen crop tops over a woollen dress or cardigan. See how PC has done it here:;
