The most awaited festival of Gujju land is here! We are all gearing-up to welcome the most energetic 9 nights of the year, so that each one of us looks effortless & in-sync while dancing to those Garba tunes, on those lush green fields. Speaking of fields, the fashion police has taken their duties very, very seriously this time & has made sure that all of us look like as we truly & completely belong on those fields, hence, its flower-power this year folks! From small to big, all types of flowers will be seen this year, printed on cholis, ghaghras & dupattas.

Here at CB, we are embracing this new trend, keeping in tandem with the ethnic spirit of Navratri, while adding a CB touch to it. Check out the looks we recommend:

1) For the flare in you: flared pants have been the “IT” thing for a while now and I’m sure everyone would own at least one pair of palazzos, so let’s make things interesting!

Pair-up your pair of palazzo pants with an ethnic choli and there you have it, an ethnic twist to the ongoing “IT” trend!

Pair the ensemble with fun accessories

2) For all things cropped: Why just limit ourselves to one trend this year? We are going fusion all the way.

Team up your cute little crop-top with those floral printed chaniyas & a colorful lehria dupatta & you are good to go!

3) For the “Dare-to-be-different”-In our quest for trying to be different, we decided to take it up a notch.

Juhi recommends this look & it is guaranteed to make you stand-out!

A button down high-low shirt, buttoned only till the mid-riff with a chaniya. Don’t worry if you don’t have a high-low shirt, we have a cheat for that too! Take any of your regular shirt, button it till the mid-riff & knot the rest & voila! You have created a look for yourself, which will be longer from the back & shorter at the front.

4) For the Experimental Souls- Let’s take a break from all things girly & raid a man’s Navratri wardrobe. Pick up a kediyu and team it up with a pair of denims or a straight fit maxi skirt! If you think you are missing that girly touch, a great pair of earrings will save your day! 🙂

Juhi decided to go semi-Goth with a fierce black look and a messy high knot. A necklace worn as anklet and dangler in only one ear finish her look!

Accessory Tip: a)Keep it minimal this Navratri

b) don’t shy away from experimenting with head chains, it will definitely give you an edge & will also be a change from the usual maang-tikaas.

Hope you have a fun and fashionable Navratri like every year. Who knows we might run into you, one of these nights.
