Hello lovely people! It seems both my parents blog (one wayyyy more than the other) and I can’t understand what the hype is all about. So, I decided to write one myself. Yep you heard it right. Why don’t I tell you all about how it’s going for me so far in the Bansal-Upadhyay house.
So, I recently started solids. Let me tell you something- there is nothing more fun than being fed in bed, well that and ma-pa cleaning your poo for you but more on that later. Yeah so now that I eat solids, I have to sit at the dining table with everyone else and eat from a spoon. No more drinking milk on the bed. Boo-hoo what fun is the dining table you tell me! Especially when I get fed such boring food. I am really looking forward to eating what mamma-papa eat- torai, karela, baingan, lauki. (I really don’t know why papa looks so unhappy at the dining table sometimes). It looks really tempting! Hey did I just hear you laugh!
Ok I have an interesting anecdote to tell (actually I have many). So, this one time when papa was cleaning my poo…mamma was hovering as usual. And papa said, “It’s a one person job, I can handle it”! Now, I can’t let these people get complacent can I? So there came a fresh batch of smelly poo that was all over the changing station and papa’s clothes and on the crib. And it was no more a one person job <evil grin>.
Normally papa gets the mornings and evenings to clean/change/burp me and they take turns during the night. Although, I ve been sleeping through the night for a few months now I like to keep them on their toes every now and then. Especially when they’ve had a tiring day and are just drifting off to sleep…..my alarm goes off! Bang! Both have to get up and tend to me. But, I am doing it just for some cheap thrills remember…so I quickly go back to sleep! (Sometimes I scare them so much with my antics they have to google search to make sure I am fine <giggle>!) .
We do have our good times though. Like when we go out every weekend. I have so much fun. I was born to sit in the car and party! Sometimes when papa is at work or out of town, mum and I go out on our own. I look forward to our long drives and lunch & coffee dates. Both of us dress up and look pretty. But, she doesn’t buy me enough stuff…I have only ten pairs of shoes and about 18 hair clips. Do you know how many she owns! Not fair right? Guess who’s going shopping as soon as she can walk!
Oh hey I totally forgot. While I am here chatting you guys up…mamma is just starting to get comfortable in front of the TV. I can’t let that happen, can I? And here comes some more poop. She’ll smell it soon enough and come running <wink>.
I’ll see you guys soon!
