Fashion Rule # 136: Avoid wearing more than two colors while putting an outfit together.

Last weekend we had some friends over from out of town and we decided to make the most of it by showing them around. The first stop was Adalaj-ni-vav, a 15th century step well in Amdavad. Since, it meant walking quite a bit, the husband demanded I wear no heels lest it slows the group down. I complied (rather broken-heartedly) like the docile wife I am (ha!).

But, while putting the outfit together I decided to let my imagination run wild and get as many colors together as possible. I also made sure I don’t repeat any color in the ensemble.

Here’s a lowdown:

Violet top with pink polka dots-Pepe Jeans (very old) Dark Blue Skinnies - ONLY Mint Neckpiece- PIECES, Vero Moda Bottle Green Moccasins- Michael Kors Rose Colored Chronograph-Timex Dark Purple Cat-eyed Sunnies- AND
